We love to work for people who are in celebration mode! Our favorite thing to do is watch everyone's reactions as we play different styles of music to see what excites the group and gets people moving best. It is a true privilege for us to be a part of the most important day in many people's lives and we hope we can help make it special for yours too.

DJ Dan is one of the most in demand private event DJ's on the Peninsula and SF. He started dj-ing in high school at parties and that carried over into DJing in college at UC Davis on KDVS 90.3 as well as spinning at private events in the Sacramento, SF and San Diego areas.  Since returning to DJing events in 2009, Dan has DJed 50+ weddings, 50+ corporate events and private parties, and one dance birthday party for an 8-year old where during breaks Dan took full advantage of the jumpy house slide out back.

"Luxe DJ Company started with a vision. After attending dozens of weddings, private parties, corporate and special events over the years, I had finally seen and heard enough YMCA to conclude it was probably not fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A. So making the party a success and                                                                                        giving people a very high-quality, low-cheese experience became my passion." - Dan Lormon

What We Offer You

For you, our client, we live by these simple rules:
1. Connect with you early to fully understand your event, and what type of atmosphere you want to create
2. Connect with you to find out what music you love (and don't love) to create a great set list for any setting (ceremony, cocktails, dinner, dancing, etc)
3. Be there, be seamless in our delivery of great music, and be professional
4. From the musical side of things, allow you to relax and have one less thing to worry about on your big day
5. Finally, no cheese! This means no YMCA (unless you really really love it. I mean really love it. Or your Uncle Randy was the cowboy from the Village People. Then, maybe).

What We Offer Your Guests

For your guests, we live by these simple rules:
1. Play great music, using the highest quality sound equipment
2. Your guests can cover many different age groups, and be from many backgrounds, so appealing to the masses is important
3. For cocktails and dinner, keep the mood upbeat and fun, without being overpowering
4. When it's time to dance, play music to get each and every person out on the dance floor
5. No cheese (see #5 above). Also, we will play YMCA if your cousin Felipe was the Indian Chief. But that's it. Seriously. We draw the line at if you are related to Cowboy or the Indian Chief. If you went to high school with Victor the Cop or had Glenn the leather-clad motorcycle guy in your driving school class, no dice.
